Approvals
The AI proposes. A human approves.
TaskForce is built so consequential steps wait for a person. An agent drafts, suggests or prepares an action — and a human approves it before it becomes part of the governed workflow or is executed externally.
What you approve
Sign-off where it actually matters
Not a settings checkbox. Approval sits at the points where a decision compounds — where getting it wrong would cost you later.
A drafted spec
The AI drafts a spec; you approve it, and the decision becomes trusted context in your Memory — what the next step builds on.
An external action
Reads can run on their own. Anything that writes to a connected tool is proposed as a pending action — and runs only after a human approves it.
A recommendation
Smart Assign suggests who should own a task, with its reason. You approve it, or override it — overrides can also become signals for improving future recommendations.
The primitive
Approval is what a checkpoint is
A checkpoint is a governed stage where an artifact is produced, reviewed and explicitly approved before the run continues. Approval isn't bolted on afterwards — it's the moment that defines the stage.
That's why the same rule holds across the product: an agent proposes, a human decides, and only an approved decision becomes context for what follows.
Recorded
Every approval leaves a trail
An approval isn't just a click. Who signed off, on what, and when is recorded — so a decision made months ago can still be explained.
- Who approved it, and the exact content they signed off on.
- The reasoning the agent proposed, kept next to the decision.
- A record you can read later — in the run, and in the audit trail.
Approval for specs, external actions and recommendations is live today. Full checkpoint-by-checkpoint governance across the entire delivery run is on the orchestration roadmap.
